Merged Benefits Health Cover
The Merged Benefit Health Cover allows for a maximisation of benefit entitlement. It is basically an outpatient cover but can also cater for in-patient conditions. Hence a beneficiary looking for an affordable cover may opt for this product only. The particulars of this cover rests on the principle of an annual limit that is subject to different annual sub limits for various benefits. As an example, the Merged Benefit 15 K effectively means that the member’s annual limit of Rs 15,000 includes an annual optical benefit of Rs 3,000.
In Patient+Cover
The In Patient+Cover refunds any medical treatment or surgical procedures requiring the occupation of a clinic bed. It refunds up to Rs 50, 000 per illness / operation per annum , with no excess. This cover is unique in the industry given that it includes normally excluded medical conditions such as Congenital and Infertility treatments. Any refund under this benefit shall be subject to the Scale of Costs fees in force across the industry. The benefit is also inclusive of a MEFPA card that facilitates admissions into private clinics.
